Celebrating 40 Years of Keeping Children Safe and Families Together
At The Children’s Cabinet, our mission is to keep children safe and families together. We provide programs and services at no charge to youth and their families in our community. We support young children to young adults, so that they can thrive within their schools, their families, and their neighborhoods. There is no wrong door, and we will ensure those who need us are provided the proper resources regardless of their circumstances.

Sarah is a Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) Coordinator for The Children’s Cabinet in Elko!
Sarah’s team member, Crystal, shared :
“Sarah is a safe and respectful place for our entire Elko office to go for help and support. She’s taken on a lot of responsibility and has modeled to us the importance of supporting our community, advocating for our children and families, and having a strong and safe work environment. I’m so grateful to have a supervisor who shows up for me and my sites. She’s also great at valuing me as a person, while gently pushing me to learn and grow professionally. Sarah is always willing to help anyone, whether it’s me, staff of other programs in our area, or any committee in our community that benefits the children and families who live here. “
Thank you for all you do, Sarah! Your hard work does not go unnoticed.
