Giving clear, age-appropriate directions and providing encouragement and positive feedback to children, which are powerful tools in the prevention of challenging behavior. Specific strategies will be given for providing directions and feedback.
1.Participants will identify considerations for their particular age group.
2.Participants will be able to give clear and concise directions.
3.Participants will identify how to use positive feedback to reinforce desired behavior.
