An overview of infant/toddler developmentally appropriate practices. We will review best practices for caring for infant and toddler age groups. We will also look at the importance of caregiver and infant toddler relationships and interactions, and materials to have accessible based on the ITERS-3.
Training Objectives:
1. Participants will gain an understanding of Developmentally Appropriate Practices with to care for Infants and Toddlers.
2. Participants will be able to describe what age appropriate materials are appropriate for Infant and and Toddlers based on ITERS 3.
3. Participants will be able to implement developmentally appropriate interactions to use with Infant and toddler age groups.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
