CKA: Environment & Curriculum
Participants will build an understanding of the physical design of the classroom. Through discussions and activities, they will understand the influence of the environment on children’s level of engagement and the prevention of children’s challenging behaviors.
Training Objectives:
1. Participants will be able to identify the importance of room arrangements and how classroom design impacts child behavior
2. Participants will be able to identify components of high quality early childhood environment.
3. Participants will understand guidelines for arranging and equipping space and/or environments for children
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
