CKA: Observation and Assessment
Through this training, the participants will have the opportunity to explain how STEM and STEAM differ and are comparable at the same time. Then they will recognize the benefits of after-school STEAM programs. Lastly, they will comprehend the connections between STEAM activities and quality programs.
Training Objectives:
1 . Participants will learn how to describe what STEAM is in the context of an after-school programming
2 . Participants will demonstrate the value of STEAM in the after-school programming.
3 . Participants will be able to connect STEAM concepts to quality standards in the after-school setting.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
