CKA: Family & Community Relationships
Gain an understanding of the relevance and importance of a family engagement system within their early childhood educational environment. Learn ways to create a healthy foundation for teacher and educator relationships and to apply it to the classroom environment by using NAEYC’s guide with real life examples.
Training Objectives:
1 .Participants will understand concepts of importance of family engagement for the ECE environment.
2 .Participants will learn how to incorporate NAEYC policies and strategies to improve or create a Family Engagement system.
3 .Participants will learn how to promote this engagement system within their curriculum socially and academically.
P lease Note: This training DOES NOT satisfy the requirements of the 2 hour requirement every five years to complete “recognizing and reporting abuse”.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
