We will discuss and share techniques on ways to teach children the ability to identify, understand and express emotions in a healthy way.

Learning Objectives

•Participants will be able to describe how learning techniques to emphasize self control for children serves a function

•Participants will be able to identify strategies to teach emotional literacy

•Participants will be able to describe the importance of play as a learning activity

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
