Many emotions arise when temper tantrums take hold. In this training, we will embark on an expedition to navigate through a jungle of different territories related to handling temper tantrums. We will learn practical strategies and navigate reactions to find the calm again.
Training Objectives:
1 . By the end of this session, learners will identify key signs, triggers and developmental factors associated with temper tantrums in young children.
2 . By the end of this session, learners will implement and practice effective strategies for managing temper tantrums.
3 . By the end of this session, learners will describe the impact of teacher reactions on tantrums and adapt strategies to respond effectively.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
