This training session focuses on the importance of creating inclusive environments where every child feels valued and supported. Key elements include recognizing diversity, ensuring equity, and promoting belonging through accessible environments and respectful terminology and person-first language.
Training Objectives:
1 . By the end of this session, learners will recall the definition of inclusion.
2 . By the end of this session, learners will identify appropriate terminology and person first language.
3 . By the end of this session, learners will summarize how we can promote a sense of belonging for ALL children.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
