Through lecture and hands on experiences this training will explain the importance of process art to help children with self-expression, explain the difference between product versus process art and why educators should implement process art in the early childhood classroom.
Training Objectives:
1 . After this training learners will be able to define the difference between process art and a product project.
2 . After hands on art experiences learners will distinguish different types of art materials to use in process art experiences. associate the positive impacts process art has for children in their self-expression and development
3 . Immediately after this training learners can integrate the information provided from this training into their daily practice and include process art in their lesson plans.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
