Brushing Up on Yourself: Personalities in Afterschool Programs.

Exploring personality types is fun and very useful for youth programs. Through personal assessment and experiential activities, you can acquire a deeper understanding of yourself and those with whom you work.

Training Objectives:

1. To help staff members gain a better understanding of their own personality traits using the Human metrics Myers-Briggs Personality assessment tool

2. To learn how personality types interact with each other

3. To help build an effective and productive afterschool team

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
