A positive family-school partnership is key in an Early Childhood classroom. It encourages collaborations among parents, teachers and communities in creating a bridge for children to succeed. Teachers will understand the importance of that partnerships and be able to incorporate easy to use strategies to increase participation.
Training Objectives:
1 . By the end of this session, learners will describe three main facts about the importance of building positive partnerships with families.
2 . By the end of this session, learners will identify strategies to engage families and create partnerships.
3 . By the end of this session, learners will formulate an activity that promotes engagement.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
