Learning Summary:
Observe the youth as they go about their routines in afterschool. Discover which STEM skills and talents they can develop, and aim for supporting such skills in engaging and interactive ways.
Learning Outcomes:
1.Learners will outline the importance of good observation skills.
2.Learners will describe what STEM skills are.
3.Learners will determine the appropriate teaching and learning STEM opportunities in the afterschool setting.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
