Learning Summary: This learning event meets the NV Registry criteria for basic level wellness training. Participants are introduced to current and evidence-based wellness information applicable to children ages 1-5. They build around their understanding to nurture healthy eaters among the children; and demonstrate healthy physical habits as incorporated into the children’s routines.

Learning Outcomes:

1 . Learners will recall current and evidence-based information about wellness specifically for children 1-5 years of age.

2 . Learners will describe the connection of obesity prvention to a healthy lifestyle.

3 . Learners will determine ways of promoting wellness for childen 1-5 years of age.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three-question quiz or test at the end of each training.
