Communicating is the life skill of determining what we want to communicate and how we will be understood by others. Children are primed to communicate from birth. Join us to learn everyday ways to promote communicating and help prepare children for school, friends and life.

Training Objectives:

1 . By the end of this session, learners will Describe how the Life Skill of Communicating calls upon Executive Function Skills.

2 . By the end of this session, learners will Restate that children are born primed to communicate.

3 . By the end of this session, learners will Recognize techniques they can use to help promote communication skills.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training. If you have questions or concerns, or need additional information about this process, feel free to contact the Professional Development Training Coordinator at 775-856-6200.
