Participants will learn how to think about, plan and prepare for emergency situations. They will develop a preparedness plan that includes communication, emergency supplies, evacuation plans and more. Participants will walk away with many handouts and materials to make sure they can handle any situation that might occur.

Training Objectives:

1 . Participants will brainstorm emergency situations and discuss why we need to be prepared.

2 . Participants will develop an emergency preparedness plan including communication, emergency supplies, evacuation plans and more.

3 . Participants will discuss what to do after the emergency preparedness plan has been written.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
