My Way, Your Way, Our Way (A Conversation on Cultural Awareness)

In this training, participants are encouraged to engage in continuous, collaborative learning within the context of cultural differences and its relevance to the workplace. Participants dialogue with others and find some common grounds to advance best practices.

Training Objectives:

1 . Learners will establish a working definition of what cultural awareness is.

2 . Learners will describe the four levels of cultural awareness.

3 . Learners will demonstrate how to apply strategies on promoting cultural awareness.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
