Gain an understanding of the relevance and importance of a family engagement system within their early childhood educational environment. Learn ways to create a healthy foundation for teacher and educator relationships and to apply it to the classroom environment by using NAEYCs guide with real life examples.

Training Objectives:

1 .By the end of this session, the learner will recall the concepts of importance of family engagement for the ECE environment.

2 .By the end of this session, the learner will identify how to incorporate NAEYC policies and strategies to improve or create a family engagement system.

3 . By the end of this session, the learner will recognize how to promote this engagement system within their curriculum socially and academically.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
