Participants will learn to give clear age-appropriate direction and provide encouragement and positive feedback to children, participants will recognize that these are effective tools in the prevention of challenging behavior, will be given specific strategies for giving direction and feedback.
Training Objectives:
1. Participants will learn to identify considerations for their particular age group.
2. Participants will be able to give clear and concise directions.
3. Participants will identify how to use positive feedback to reinforce desired behaviors.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
