Participants will learn the definition of suspension and expulsion, address and debunk myths around suspension and expulsion, be given clear guidance on following the NV policy on suspension and expulsion, and discuss how suspension and expulsion effects families and children.
Training Objectives:
1. Participants will learn the definition of suspension and expulsion.
2. Participants will understand the many ways that children are suspended.
3. Participants will identify ways suspension & expulsion effect families & children.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
