During this learning event we will discuss how participants can provide a high-quality physical environment during non-traditional hours of care. We will go over NV State regulatory mandates regarding the staff-to-child ratios and appropriate rest periods for children during these times and acquire skills pertaining to emergency preparedness protocols.
Training Objectives:
1 . Learners will get an understanding of how to provide a high-quality physical environment for non-traditional hours of care.
2 . Learners will acquire knowledge of NV State regulatory mandates regarding the staff-to-child ratios and appropriate rest periods for children in non-traditional aftercare settings.
3 . Learners acquire skills pertaining to emergency preparedness protocols in the context of non-traditional hour care.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
