Let’s dive in and increase our awareness of unhealthy food options that we give children and identify food alternatives for children of all ages. During this training, participants will explore opportunities for solving the picky-eater dilemma and will leave with an increased awareness of childhood obesity and prevention.

Training Objectives:

1 . Identify healthy food options for children of all ages.

2 . Identify healthy food options and strategies to support picky eaters.

3 . Recall strategies to reduce childhood obesity and prevention.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training. If you have questions or concerns, or need additional information about this process, feel free to contact the Professional Development Training Coordinator at 775-856-6200.
