Participants will learn effective techniques in the implementation of schedules, routines and transitions. Participants will discuss how to modify and adapt materials and activities to meet the individual needs of all children, including those with disabilities.
Training Objectives:
1 . By the end of this session, learners will be able to identify considerations for different age groups.
2 . By the end of this session, learners will understand the difference between schedules and routines.
3 . By the end of this session, learners will identify ways to implement visual supports for schedules and routines.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
