This course will help participants gain a deeper understanding of SIDS, safe sleep policies and how to identify ways to reduce the risk of SIDS within child care settings.

Training Objectives:

1 . By the end of this session, the learner will define what SIDS is in infants.

2 . By the end of this session, the learner will Identify safe sleep practices.

3 . By the end of this session, the learner will Recognize ways to lower SIDS risks in child care settings.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
