CKA: Observation & Assessment
In this training, providers will conduct observations from videos and reflect on how the teachers could handle situations differently to support the individual growth of each child in the class. Providers will learn to recognize that findings in observation and assessment can assist in planning classroom curriculum.
Training Objectives:
1 . By the end of this session, the learner will Identify the importance of observation and how it can benefit the classroom.
2 . By the end of this session, the learner will Recall the different types of Observation Methods.
3 . By the end of this session, the learner will Use scenarios to learn ways of using observations to adjust teaching strategies and create new learning opportunities.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
