This learning event will cover self-care strategies for teachers in early childhood settings. We will discuss the three “r’s” for self-care for teachers and how to implement them throughout our daily lives. We will explore self-care strategies and discuss new ideas for self-care to implement as teachers.

Training Objectives:

1 . By the end of this session, learners will define the three “r’s” for supporting self-care for teachers in early childhood settings.

2 . By the end of this session, learners will discuss what self-care is and why it is important for teachers in EC settings.

3 . By the end of this session, learners will apply one new self-care strategy to implement in their daily lives.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training. If you have questions or concerns, or need additional information about this process, feel free to contact the Professional Development Training Coordinator at 775-856-6200.
