It is not uncommon for professionals who work with children to lose sight of the need for self-reflection, and investing in their own well-being. Join us as we explore causes and symptoms of stress and effective stress management strategies.
Training Objectives:
1 . Define self-care and describe what it looks like in their lives.
2 . Identify sources and symptoms of stress.
3 . Identify physical, cognitive and emotional behavior techniques for stress management
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training. If you have questions or concerns, or need additional information about this process, feel free to contact the Professional Development Training Coordinator at 775-856-6200.
