This training will discuss ways to promote social and emotional development through behavior expectations and rules. When children understand the expectations for their behavior and when children are taught expectations using a range of strategies, they are less likely to engage in challenging behavior
Training Objectives:
1 . By the end of this session, learners will identify rules and expectations and their differences.
2 . By the end of this session, learners will be able to use behavior expectations in a classroom.
3 . By the end of this session, learners will be able to use rules in the classroom.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
