Learning Event Summary:

This training is based off the Enough Abuse Curriculum, so we will stress the importance of body safety for children and how to help caregivers overcome any barriers to teaching children in their care.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Learners will understand the benefits of communicating about body safety.
  2. Learners will learn body safety tips to practice with children.
  3. Learners will learn ways and strategies to teach parents and children about practicing this safety.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
