To understand how social-emotional development unfolds in the first five years, and the brain’s role in this process. Providers will be able to make decisions concerning support and experiences to help with the process.
Training Objectives:
1 . Understand how social-emotional development unfolds in the first five years, and how to support it in young children.
2 . Identify areas of the brain involved in social interactions and emotional reactions.
3 . Understand the role of attachment in social-emotional development and the role of stress.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
