With a first check for $500 in hand, the Children’s Cabinet of Reno is proud to announce a charitable partnership with the award winning real estate group “The Hays King Team” from Keller Williams Realty. Donations from the sales of homes from The Hays King team will help provide services and resources that address unmet needs for Northern Nevada kids and families. The partnership began January 1st and the realtors plan regular donations to help children across the Truckee Meadows.

In the past year, the Children’s Cabinet have been able to help more than 12,000 families. Every child has the right to lead a healthy, safe existence that will promote their capacity and opportunity to become responsible, productive adult citizens. Ensuring access to these services can strengthen families. The Children’s Cabinet’s work extends past the immediate needs of youth and families to promote happy, healthy families.

The Children’s Cabinet aims to keep children safe and families together. It believes in encouraging an environment within families, schools and neighborhoods that values the unique characteristics of each individual.

“We have families of our own and we help families find their dream homes. It only seems natural to give back,” said Mike Hays, Co-Team Leader for The Hays King Team at Keller Williams Group One, Inc Real Estate Brokers.

We’re so pleased at the opportunity for The Hays King Team to assist The Children’s Cabinet in their quest to support and help local families,” said Shaina King. “It’s just a natural fit.”
