Patricia is one of the longest-tenured case managers we have at The Children’s Cabinet! Working with youth in need of assistance, including victims of crime, and teaching youth mental health first aid classes in Spanish, Patricia is a knowledgeable support system for clients and colleagues alike!
“I Joined The Cabinet because I wanted to help families meet their basic needs and enhance social functioning. The Children’s Cabinet gave me the opportunity to start as a community educator teaching parenting classes in my native language ( Spanish ). I feel privileged to be the only instructor in Northern Nevada teaching Youth Mental Health First Aid for Spanish speakers. Every day I am grateful for my job and I am very happy that my passion to help families is intact like the first day I started working at The Children’s Cabinet.”
