2. What successes are you most proud of?

Becoming a mother, buying a car, and graduating.

3. What advice do you have for future Redfield Academy students?

Graduate, go to college, and start your future. Achieve your dreams.

4. What part of Redfield Academy did you enjoy the most?

Learning.

5. Is there anyone you would like to give a special shout-out to?

I want to make a special shout-out to all the teachers and a big shout-out to Lacey too.

6. What are your plans after graduation?

Start a college class.

Efren Cazares

Joined Redfield senior year.

1. What made you choose Redfield Academy for your education?

I chose Redfield because of my lack of credits and wanting to graduate.

2. What successes are you most proud of?

I am proud I could recover all my credits that I did and am graduating.

3. What advice do you have for future Redfield Academy students?

My advice for Redfield Academy students: try your hardest because this school is so easy if you try your hardest.

4. What part of Redfield Academy did you enjoy the most?

My favorite part of Redfield was the pool table and the kids I was able to play against.

5. Is there anyone you would like to give a special shout-out to?

I want to make a special shout-out to all the teachers, the principal, and Ricardo.

6. What are your plans after graduation?

After graduation, I plan to work full time and get lots of money.

Kade Copeland

Joined Redfield sophomore year.

1. What made you choose Redfield Academy for your education?

I chose Redfield because I was not doing good at my other school and I heard that Redfield is a school that can help me get back on track.

2. What successes are you most proud of?

I am most proud of the fact that I am actually graduating.

3. What advice do you have for future Redfield Academy students?

My advice for Redfield academy students: just do the work. Don’t whine.

4. What part of Redfield Academy did you enjoy the most?

I enjoyed that I can work on what I want at my own pace without relying on a teacher.

5. Is there anyone you would like to give a special shout-out to?

I can’t give a special shout-out as there are so many people who helped me graduate.

6. What are your plans after graduation?

After graduation, I want to get a full-time job.

John Fischer

Joined Redfield junior year.

1. What made you choose Redfield Academy for your education?

I was falling behind on my classes and I needed to catch up.

2. What successes are you most proud of?

I’m proud of being able to catch up on my classes.

3. What advice do you have for future Redfield Academy students?

Work hard and focus on your classes.

4. What part of Redfield Academy did you enjoy the most?

I enjoyed working with the teachers and case manager.

5. Is there anyone you would like to give a special shout-out to?

I would give a shout-out to the teachers and the staff.

6. What are your plans after graduation?

Either I would get a job or go to college.

Gisselle Garcia Madera

Joined Redfield junior or senior year.

1. What made you choose Redfield Academy for your education?

A counselor recommended Redfield Academy to me.

2. What successes are you most proud of?

I am proud I am finishing school.

3. What advice do you have for future Redfield Academy students?

I would say that it is all up to you.

4. What part of Redfield Academy did you enjoy the most?

I enjoyed the walks we did as a group.

5. Is there anyone you would like to give a special shout-out to?

I want to give a special shout-out to Amber at Redfield Academy as she helped me the most.

6. What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to go to cosmetology school after graduation.

Dominic Maraldo

Began attending Redfield Academy junior year and was home-schooled previously.

1. What made you choose Redfield Academy for your education?

Before coming to Redfield I was disorganized, behind, and confused. I had vague plans for the future so my parents chose this school for me.

2. What successes are you most proud of?

I am proud that I am graduating in just a year at Redfield despite everything. I am filled with confidence and positivity, something I yearned for in the past.

3. What advice do you have for future Redfield Academy students?

My advice for Redfield academy students: Please don’t give up. I know this sounds cliché but the simplest advice still serves a function. Give yourself time if you have to, that’s OK. It can be hard to motivate one’s self, to the point of taking shortcuts even if there are consequences. But please do what you can to graduate. You have potential, everyone does.

4. What part of Redfield Academy did you enjoy the most?

I loved the friendly environment. I really mean that too. I genuinely never had my feelings hurt by anyone intentionally. It was a safe place and I just thank all of you who were here!

5. Is there anyone you would like to give a special shout-out to?

I want to give a shout-out to friends! And everyone else at this school really. Yet again, I had so much going on. I am absolutely ecstatic to have everybody. Family helped get everything up though.

6. What are your plans after graduation?

I definitely plan on attending a four-year college, I am trying to get an art degree. I am still discovering a lot about myself but the future is exciting.

Eric Padilla-Saldana

Joined Redfield in 2021.

1. What made you choose Redfield Academy for your education?

I was recommended by a friend who graduated from Redfield.

2. What successes are you most proud of?

I am most proud of getting a car, my driver’s license, getting off probation, and graduating.

3. What advice do you have for future Redfield Academy students?

My advice for Redfield Academy students: Nevada give up. Anyone can do it if you just have to put the work in.

4. What part of Redfield Academy did you enjoy the most?

My favorite part of Redfield was that they accepted me into the school and they cared about the students and their education.

5. Is there anyone you would like to give a special shout-out to?

I want to make a special shout-out to my aunt, my counselor, my school principal, and case managers.

6. What are your plans after graduation?

After graduation, I am figuring out those next steps in my life and will hopefully soon figure out a career.

EDooa Perez

Joined Redfield senior year.

1. What made you choose Redfield Academy for your education?

I heard about Redfield from a friend and was interested in going.

2. What successes are you most proud of?

Getting about most of my classes one.

3. What advice do you have for future Redfield Academy students?

Do the hard classes first just to get them out of way so you are left with the easy ones.

4. What part of Redfield Academy did you enjoy the most?

Going to get snacks on the walks.

5. Is there anyone you would like to give a special shout-out to?

To all the staff at Redfield Academy.

6. What are your plans after graduation?

I am still not sure about my plans after graduation.

Keilla Rembert

Joined Redfield junior year.

1. What made you choose Redfield Academy for your education?

Every other school treats its students like sheep on a farm. This school tries to make you feel human.

2. What successes are you most proud of?

Making it to graduation. I didn’t think it was possible for me.

3. What advice do you have for future Redfield Academy students?

Put in the effort because in the end, it’s worth it.

4. What part of Redfield Academy did you enjoy the most?

The interactions with the teachers. They are super nice and strive to make you feel good.

5. Is there anyone you would like to give a special shout-out to?

My homie Jesus Christ for not taking me with him. J Lacey Keele for believing in me so much.

6. What are your plans after graduation?

Become a successful person. Find success in myself.

 

 

Juan Rodriguez Perez

Joined Redfield sophomore year.

1. What made you choose Redfield Academy for your education?

I chose Redfield to help me get my GED and get some credits.

2. What successes are you most proud of?

I am proud of how far I have come and that I am almost where I want to be.

3. What advice do you have for future Redfield Academy students?

My advice for Redfield Academy students: really put your effort in and the school will help you get where you want.

4. What part of Redfield Academy did you enjoy the most?

I love the places Redfield would take us and that they made school actually fun.

5. Is there anyone you would like to give a special shout-out to?

I want to give a shout-out to Lacey, Ricardo, and Karen for always helping me in whatever ways they could.

6. What are your plans after graduation?

After graduation, I want to keep working and get a good job.

Alicia Romero

Began attending Redfield sophomore year.

1. What made you choose Redfield Academy for your education?

I was behind on my credits and found out about this credit recovery school.

2. What successes are you most proud of?

I am proud of completing my probation and continuing my journey of graduating high school.

3. What advice do you have for future Redfield Academy students?

My advice for Redfield Academy students: Do you work, it’s worth it. It is much easier compared to regular high school.

4. What part of Redfield Academy did you enjoy the most?

My favorite part of Redfield is the people who work with us. The teachers and case managers will always welcome the students with open arms and do whatever they can to help.

5. Is there anyone you would like to give a special shout-out to?

My special shout-out would be to a lady who use to work with our school and she made all students feel good about going to school. Nancy was one of the sweetest women in the world. (Nancy was a former employee of Redfield Academy who passed away last year.)

6. What are your plans after graduation?

After graduation, I plan to look into a career to pursue. I have not yet decided what.

Brisani Vargas Amado

Began attending Redfield last year in 2021.

1. What made you choose Redfield Academy for your education?

My friend got me into it.

2. What successes are you most proud of?

I am proud of the things I have been able to finish.

3. What advice do you have for future Redfield Academy students?

My advice for Redfield Academy students: focus if you want to finish quick.

4. What part of Redfield Academy did you enjoy the most?

My favorite part of Redfield has been the activities.

5. Is there anyone you would like to give a special shout-out to?

I want to give a shout-out to Karen and Ricardo.

After graduation, I plan to go to TMCC.

A family friend is a teacher at Redfield and she thought it would be a good fit.

2. What successes are you most proud of?

I am proud of graduating.

3. What advice do you have for future Redfield Academy students?

My advice for Redfield Academy students: do the work, it goes as fast as you make it.

4. What part of Redfield Academy did you enjoy the most?

I loved the activities at Redfield and the teachers.

Azucena Velasquez

I am literally proud of graduating.

Don’t give up when you think it’s hard.

All the teachers and Lacey. Also my boyfriend! He literally motivated my and went out of his way to get me to school.

4. What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to go to TMCC and start a career in business.
